Polaris adds AI-powered tools to strengthen VOCUS platform

July 21, 2025

The latest VOCUS upgrades will assist safety teams in improving workflows by speeding up search, risk reports and information sharing.

VOCUS's new AI assists on drafting policies and reports, reducing overall manual effort.

Polaris Aero has introduced a suite of artificial intelligence tools across its VOCUS safety intelligence platform, designed to assist with documentation, content search and risk classification. The aim is to improve decision-making and operational efficiency for users across safety departments.

The system now supports faster data entry and retrieval, with automated tagging of mission impact and support for drafting safety materials. It also improves the way lessons learned are documented and shared internally.

Robert Myrick, aviation safety and governance manager at Entergy, says: “The AI tools are intuitive and effective. They bring efficiency and speed to an already streamlined safety management system, saving us time on both data entry and retrieval of information.”

The new tools are being extended to other Polaris Aero platforms including FlightRisk and GroundRisk. “Every new feature is built to be useful, intuitive and seamlessly integrated into everyday workflows,” says Polaris Aero co-founder and CEO, Chris Connor.

Additional VOCUS SMS enhancements were also launched for unmanned aircraft system operators, FBOs and MRO facilities to support wider sharing of safety data and standardise reporting across departments.
