Surf Air lines up BrokerOS, OperatorOS and OwnerOS for 2026

June 16, 2025

The three Palantir-backed SurfOS products were built to automate workflows for charter brokers, operators and aircraft owners across regional aviation.

Surf Air Mobility has shared plans to launch its SurfOS software suite commercially in 2026. The platform includes BrokerOS, OperatorOS and OwnerOS, with each set of tools focused on the needs of a specific group: charter brokers, aircraft operators and aircraft owners.

BrokerOS, already in use for Surf On Demand, is designed to help charter brokers with sourcing, quoting, booking and payment. It will later serve Part 295 brokers and travel agents. OperatorOS supports aircraft and crew scheduling and features a Crew App to manage duties and flight updates. Surf Air’s Southern Airways is already using these tools. OwnerOS provides transparency for owners, connecting directly with OperatorOS to support asset utilisation.

CEO and COO Deanna White says: “From crew scheduling to flight planning to sourcing on-demand charter aircraft, SurfOS is helping our teams work smarter every day.” Co-founder Sudhin Shahani says: “We're creating an operating system that unifies industry data to improve efficiency and increase profitability.”

Eight beta testers are shaping BrokerOS and OperatorOS development. SurfOS will first target today’s private aviation sector, with longer-term aims to support the growing regional mobility industry and operators of electrified aircraft.
