Safety-related programmes and systems were reviewed as part of the Wingman audit, which looks at aircraft records and pilot training.
Premier Private Jets has retained its Wyvern Wingman status following a safety audit conducted every two years. The Florida-based operator said its certification reflects its continuing commitment to safety. CEO Josh Birmingham, a 15,000-hour corporate pilot, said: “Wingman certification is a byproduct of our ongoing safety focus.”
Premier uses a quarterly Flight Leader programme to stay proactive on safety, and also participates in the Air Charter Safety Foundation's voluntary ASAP reporting programme. The company has its own SMS and ERP systems for monitoring, and uses Fireside Flight Monitoring to track flights around the clock. Each flight is preceded by a risk assessment.

Wyvern’s criteria include a review of operational history, SMS, pilot and technician training, aircraft maintenance and internal evaluation procedures. Premier has operated for 12 years without a safety incident.
