Second Vision Jet addition gave TxJet added support for time-sensitive transplant flights while Jet Logistics continued to handle flight execution.
Jet Logistics has strengthened its operational role in lifesaving transport missions following the expansion of the TxJet fleet with a second Cirrus Vision Jet. The FAA-certificated air carrier continues to manage all flight operations for the 501(c)(3) nonprofit, including dispatch, pre-flight safety and regulatory compliance, as TxJet increases capacity to move surgeons and donated organs to transplant centres across the United States.
This addition joins a Cessna CJ3+ already in use, forming a fleet focused on efficiency and availability for critical medical flights. TxJet remains responsible for overall coordination and customer service while Jet Logistics ensures each mission adheres to FAA standards.
“Our collaboration with Jet Logistics, Inc. allows us to maintain top notch aviation,” says Jamie Adams, director of aviation at TxJet. “While TxJet manages the process and customer service, Jet Logistics, Inc. ensures that each flight is operated safely and in full compliance with FAA regulations.”
