Amaro Aviation enters rotary wing segment with Bell 429

May 8, 2024:

In the coming months, Brazilian executive aviation company Amaro Aviation will enter the rotary wing segment with the arrival of a Bell 429 aircraft. The helicopter will be available for charter, package hours and also for fractional ownership. This follows the company's acquisition at the beginning of the year of a unit of the Swiss AW09 helicopter, manufactured by Leonardo, which will make Amaro Aviation the Brazilian launch customer of the model when it is delivered in 2025.

The Bell 429 is a twin-turbine helicopter, capable of accommodating up to six passengers in comfort and two pilots. A sales leader in its segment, it is one of the models with the lowest maintenance costs.

“We are very excited to expand the service offering for our customers with rotary wings, complementing what we already offer with long-range aircraft, with our PC-24 jets and PC-12 NGX turboprop,” declares Marcos Amaro, CEO of Amaro Aviation. For him, it is necessary to meet the needs of charter customers with different types of aircraft, making it possible to recommend the most appropriate one for each need.

The Bell 429 will go into operation within a few months. The AW09 should be delivered in 2025. Amaro Aviation believes in a business model that offers several options according to customer demand for flights, both charter and fractional shares.
