Cockrell Resources, Inc. rebrands private jet company as Houston JetDirect

Cockrell Resources, Inc., an aircraft management and private jet charter company located at Houston Hobby Airport (HOU) in Texas, has renamed the company Houston JetDirect Management and Charter, Inc. and has launched its new website. The U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has received documentation and approved the name change.

“Following two years of dramatic change in the aviation industry, the company is poised to offer greater value to a larger number of aircraft owners and travellers. Rebranding now to focus on our primary mission makes sense,” president and general manager Alberto Castro said.

- Business jet take-offs and landings are increasing at an estimated 40 percent per year.

- Inventories of used jets are dropping to record lows below five percent, as sales surge.

Houston JetDirect offers professional aircraft management for new and experienced aircraft owners, providing the ideal way for them to get the most value from their aircraft ownership.

The company has evolved since it was founded in the 1950s. The new name emphasises the company's focus on aircraft management, as well as its expanded charter offering of direct flights from Houston and other locations in Texas and the southwest US to destinations across the Americas.

With regional airport coverage under stress, Houston JetDirect charter flights go direct to small and remote destinations where commercial airline flights are not as frequent or not covered at all.

Ownership of the company has not changed and remains privately held.
