ABS Jets expands service portfolio with new helicopter division

In 2019, ABS Jets focused on company growth. For its 15th anniversary in business, ABS Jets has expanded its fleet with a brand-new Gulfstream G650 and also recently broke new ground by receiving an AOC for helicopters, adding the Airbus H145 to its fleet. The new helicopter operations have started a new chapter in the company’s history.

The Airbus H145 helicopter belongs to the exclusive Mercedes-Benz Style VIP version family, which offers in-flight wi-fi connectivity, higher performance, increased flight safety and an improved exterior design over the former EC145. The style is tailored to high-end private and corporate operations and offers a modular interior for extreme cabin arrangement flexibility, fulfilling the highest expectations of refinement, comfort and quality.

“Expanding our service portfolio with helicopter operations has been one of our long-term ambitions, although it was planned for a future time. I am proud that our strong and dedicated team has already managed to establish this into our portfolio this year in conjunction with the 15th anniversary of the company. Along with achieving an AOC for helicopters, ABS Jets has also successfully received EASA Part-145 approval to perform maintenance on the Airbus H145, which its large MRO organisation will take care of.

The company will continue providing its comprehensive portfolio of business aviation services that specialise in 24/7 ultra-long-haul operations with worldwide coverage. Exhibiting at this year’s RUBAE exhibition in Moscow at booth #B201, ABS Jets will be presenting its portfolio to current and potential customers.
