JetSmarter connects three continents Mobile marketplace JetSmarter is adding new routes to its JetShuttle portfolio of scheduled one way trips. Single seats will now be available departing London to Zurich and Munich on flights most days of the week, and also on flights between London and Dubai departing Al Maktoum International airport on Thursday evenings and returning midday Fridays from London Luton airport.

$200 million ridesharing deal struck

JetSmarter has entered into a multi-year, $200 million supplier agreement with California operator Jet Edge which currently supplies charter lift for JetSmarter's core service offerings. The deal enables JetSmarter members to build custom shuttle flights between locations including New York, Florida, California, Boston, Washington DC, Atlanta, Dallas, Chicago on their own timeline and route, while offsetting their flight costs by monetising empty seats on the aircraft.

“Because the ridesharing market is an emerging industry segment with superior growth potential, we have decided to invest early in this model alongside JetSmarter,” says Bill Papariella, CEO, Jet Edge International. “This expanded agreement provides predictable revenue for our current fleet aircraft owners and enables us to create enticing aircraft manage-ment products and offerings.”
