LunaJets moves into seat sharing

Geneva-based LunaJets has launched Jet Sharing, a mobile app offering seat sharing for private jet clients by giving them access to empty seats onboard confirmed flights.

CEO Eymeric Segard explains the concept: “Once a LunaJets client confirms a flight, they have a choice to sell any available seats in that aircraft at their chosen price. LunaJets will advertise the seats free of charge on its website and app.

“Our main advantage lies in the guarantee,” he continues, “since only those flights confirmed by the initial client will be accessible on the Jet Sharing platform. For the other passengers, it is the opportunity to access private jet seats without booking the whole plane, and for the initial client it is a good way to reduce the cost of the flight.”
