ExecuJet’s Challenger 300 makes first landing at St Helena airport

ExecuJet introduces private jet charter to St Helena

ExecuJet Africa has operated the first ever jet to land at St Helena airport in the South Atlantic Ocean. The flight, chartered by Air Safety Support International, formed part of the airport's certification process. ExecuJet Africa flew the regulating personnel from the aircraft's base in Johannesburg to St Helena on a Bombardier Challenger 300 via Walvis Bay, Namibia, where it made a stop for refuelling and a weather update. The jet also carried out several audit flights during the visit to ensure the smooth and safe running of air traffic control and various other safety aspects at the airport.
