Sand Aviation forms 55 North Group alliance with MTS Aviation

Malmö, Sweden-based Sand Aviation has joined forces with ground handling company MTS Aviation to form 55 North Group, with the aim of developing and positioning Malmö airport as a full service, full time private jet hub for northern Europe.

“We can now support both current and future private jet owners at Malmö airport with our in-house flight operations for aircraft based worldwide and, as soon as our own AOC is completed, manage and charter out clients' jets for assignments within our strong global network,” says Maria Asp, owner of Sand Aviation. “In addition, we provide tailored solutions for ad hoc private jet charter customers without the need to tie up any money in a jet card or a fractional ownership, all at one personal point of contact based at MTS Aviation's premises.”

In Malmö we have the capacity and we hope to attract all private jets based in northern Europe or just passing by en route across the Atlantic.”
