'Upstart' ExcelAire passes 30 year mark in private aviation

ExcelAire has celebrated its 30th anniversary in Ronkonkoma, New York. Founded in 1985 as an aircraft maintenance company, with a small office at MacArthur Airport on Long Island, ExcelAire has grown to occupy more than 200,000 sq ft of office and hangar space at the airport with a fleet of more than 20 jets.

“Thirty years ago, ExcelAire was an upstart, providing maintenance services for the new private jet industry on Long Island, and we now offer a full range of services for our customers with one of the most luxurious private jet fleets in the New York City metropolitan area,” says president Greg Brinkman.

Appointment of Keith Ruggirello

The company has appointed Keith Ruggirello as senior vice president of sales and marketing. Brinkman says: “Keith's dedication to his clients, passion for aviation and his strong track record of success make him a great addition to the ExcelAire team. We are growing quickly and Keith's appointment will help us continue to build on this momentum.”
