JFI Jets acquires ACP Jets

Florida based charter, manage-ment and maintenance organisation JFI Jets has acquired ACP Jets, a full-service private aviation company which holds an ARGUS Platinum safety rating and IS-BAO phase two certification. ACP Jets operates two Hawker 800XPs, a Citation X, four Gulfstream IV/SP/450s and a Part 145 maintenance repair station. Upon full FAA integration, the combined entity will operate and manage a combined fleet of 17 midsize and heavy jets, available for charter between New York Metro, southern California and south Florida.

Ceo Robert Seidel says: “By merging these two industry-leading companies, we will be the only provider with facilities, aircraft, maintenance and sales offices in the top three US markets for private aviation.

I am proud our company will be led by two of the most respected and capable executives in the industry, JFI president David Rimmer and ACP co-founder and president Suran Wijayawardana, who will join us as chief operating officer.”
