Jet Aviation's 10 FBOs in the U.S. and Caribbean recently joined its 11 FBOs in EMEA and Asia in achieving IS-BAH Stage 1 registration.

Jet Aviation FBOs worldwide achieve IS-BAH Standard registrations to ensure maximum level of service to customers

June 20, 2017:

Jet Aviation is pleased to announce that all of its 21 fixed base operation (FBO) facilities worldwide are demonstrating their commitment to customer service by qualifying for Stage 1 registration to the IS-BAH Standard (International Standard for Business Aircraft Handling) from the International Business Aviation Council (IBAC).

The 10 Jet Aviation FBOs in the U.S. and Caribbean recently joined the 11 FBOs in EMEA and Asia in achieving Stage 1 registration, said Stefan Benz, senior vice president and general manager, regional operations EMEA and Asia, and David Paddock, senior vice president and general manager, regional operations USA. They said this unusually high level of IS-BAH registration for a company’s FBOs demonstrates Jet Aviation’s dedication to ensuring that all customers uniformly receive the maximum level of safe and secure ground-handling services at every Jet Aviation FBO around the world.

“All of our FBO teams have been working to improve all of their processes to deliver the best service possible to our customers under these standardized best practices since the IS-BAH program was launched two years ago,” Benz said. Paddock added, “We believe this achievement on a global scale sets a new, high standard in the industry for ground-handling service that Jet Aviation will provide at every single FBO, no matter where it is located. It shows that we stand behind our commitments to our customers.”

The IS-BAH Standard was developed by the IBAC and the National Air Transportation Association (NATA) and launched at EBACE 2014. It is based on a safety management system that models the structure and format of the standard for Business Aircraft Operators (IS-BAO). IS-BAH establishes criteria to ensure handling systems, processes, and practices meet rigorous safety and security standards.

Terry Yeomans, IBAC’s IS-BAH program director, said, "By ensuring registered ground-handling organizations are conducting their operations under a set of standardized best practices, IS-BAH registration helps raise the industry’s safety standards while offering assurance to aircraft owners and operators that they are in good hands.”

In the U.S. and Caribbean, Jet Aviation’s FBOs are located in:

- Washington Dulles

- Teterboro, New Jersey

- Bedford, Massachusetts

- Palm Beach, Florida

- Dallas and Houston, Texas

- St. Louis, Missouri

- Van Nuys, California

- Nassau, Bahamas

- San Juan, Puerto Rico.
