DC Aviation receives 2017 Diamond Safety of Flight Award

DC Aviation, one of Germany's largest business jet operators and one of the leading operators in Europe, was again recognized for its excellent safety performance. At this year's EBACE, the European Business Aviation Association (EBAA) honored DC Aviation with the 2017 Diamond Safety of Flight Award for surpassing 100,000 hours of safe flying. DC Aviation is one in a small group of operators ever to receive this award.

“Our constant quest for maximum safety, is at the basis of everything we do. It is the hard core of our corporate philosophy”, explains Michael Kuhn, CEO of DC Aviation.

In 2007, DC Aviation set a new standard in business aviation by adopting safety standards at par with those of commercial airlines. At the time, DC Aviation was the only German company, and one of only four business aviation companies worldwide, to undergo the IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA). DC Aviation continues to adhere to this high standard and regularly subjects itself to independent safety assessments.
