ASG nominated for four Icons of Aviation awards by Asian Business Aviation Association

August 17, 2016:

Asian Sky Group (ASG) has been nominated for an unprecedented four Icons of Aviation awards, presented by the Asian Business Aviation Association (AsBAA).

The AsBAA Icons of Aviation industry awards are the business aviation industry's only annual award ceremony, in Asia, based entirely on merit and voted by fellow industry members. ASG was previously nominated, at the inaugural awards ceremony in 2015.

This year, the Hong Kong-based company is being recognized in four categories, more than any other company nominated:

- Best Business Support Services for its annual Fleet Reports that provide the industry with the market data it needs.

- Best Charter Brokerage for its dedicated and highly personalized customer service.

- Best Aircraft Brokerage for its client-oriented services encompassing all facets of a transaction.

- Best Media for Asian Sky Quarterly devoted to providing its readers with business aviation insights and intelligence.

“Asian Sky Group is proud to be nominated for the Icons of Aviation awards. The four nominations are a testament to the services we provide, proving that ASG is not just your average broker,” says Asian Sky Group managing director, Jeffrey Lowe. “We've worked hard to offer services in all aspects of the industry and these nominations are a reflection of that.”

ASG has produced Fleet Reports on business jets and civil helicopters, since 2012. Each report provides comprehensive coverage on the Asia-Pacific region and a breakdown of the business jet and civil helicopter fleets in each country. The Fleet Reports have established themselves as an indispensable source of information for the whole business aviation community.

Asian Sky Quarterly supplies information on market intelligence and trends, Asia-specific and country-specific macroeconomic indicators, data on market mood, as well as availability and sale prices for specific aircraft types to help potential buyers, sellers, and industry members better understand current market conditions in Asia. The fourth edition of Asian Sky Quarterly will be available in October 2016.

Supporters can vote online to help recognize the contributions to the business aviation community that led to the selection of ASG for these awards: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/asbaaioa

This initial voting round will be closed after August 31, when the top three highest scores in each category will be shortlisted for the final round. The final winner of each category will be announced at the AsBAA Icons of Aviation Awards Charity Gala Dinner, on November 6 in Hong Kong.
