Stefan Buschle, the new chief commercial officer for MHS Aviation.

Stefan Buschle, new CCO of MHS Aviation, sets the pace for expansion

November 25, 2013:

The expanding charter airline MHS Aviation has a new management member: the experienced and successful aviation expert Stefan Buschle (44) has taken over duties as chief commercial officer and will be responsible for the sales and business development of the Grünwald (Munich) based operator.

Born in Germany and raised in Brazil, Buschle started his aviation career at Lufthansa in Frankfurt. After leading positions at the Cirrus Group, DC Aviation, the Portuguese OMNI Aviation Group and Whitejets Airways in Brazil, he returned to Germany for a new challenge.

With his international background and extensive experience in different sectors of aviation, Buschle plans to increase MHS's share of managed aircraft and expand the carrier´s fleet, with a strategy for MHS Aviation to become one of Europe's major business aviation players. 

Speaking about the appointment of Stefan Buschle MHS Aviation managing director Andreas Otto commented “We are very pleased to welcome Stefan Buschle as a new team member, both as a manager and as a person he's a great addition to MHS.”

MHS Aviation was founded in 1979 as Munich Helicopter Services. Gerd Brandecker and his partner Axel André took over the company in 2009, adding 2 Learjets to the existing helicopter fleet. Today, MHS Aviation operates 13 aircraft: five Dornier Do328, which also operate for British Airways, one Challenger 604, five Learjets (L31 to L60) and two Agusta AW109 helicopter in vip-configuration. Further additions are planned for the next months.
