Nick Rose hopes the Jet Centre’s broker incentive scheme will bring more clients through London City airport

London City airport Jet Centre announces broker incentive scheme

London City airport's Jet Centre has introduced an incentive scheme for brokers who choose the airport for passengers. Its aim is to encourage charter brokers to offer clients the opportunity to appreciate the facility at London City, and to understand the value that this represents in terms of customer time and experience.

The scheme will be in place for all of 2017 and is awarded for every flight that is placed through London City airport. It accompanies a new initiative which prices charter flights at a competitive rate to other airports in London, but which is said to offer a far superior ground time to the most frequently requested destinations of Mayfair and Kensington.

The Jet Centre is housed in a separate self-contained facility with dedicated security and immigration staffing, and boasts a 90-second passenger transfer from car to aircraft door. It has recently been awarded an IS-BAH certificate for quality of service and has full support services on site, including limousines and black cabs on account; a partner- ship with US-headquartered in-flight catering company Air Culinaire; aircraft cleaning and a dedicated fuel bowser.

Aircraft types recently added for approval to operate at the airport include the Bombardier Global 6000, Dassault Falcon 8X, Embraer Legacy 550 and Gulfstream G280.

“LCY is a unique gateway, being the only airport actually located in London,” says director, business aviation, Nick Rose. “It is only four miles from Canary Wharf and nine miles from Mayfair, and with our new pricing initiative and incentive scheme for aircraft brokers we are hoping many more passengers get the opportunity to experience this.”
