Sami Belbase is launching jet operations to Cuba

Encore Jets enters Cuba's adventure tourism market

New York City, USA-based startup Encore Jets is offering direct flights to Cuba from 24 US cities including Miami, Atlanta and New York. The brokerage has partnered with tour operator and travel agency International Expeditions, which is recognised for its experience in tourism and government relations with Cuba. Through the Discover Cuba programme, the two travel companies are introducing private charter flights and customised experiences to Encore Jets' members.

Clients are still required to secure the necessary approvals and visas for of all US visitors to Cuba, however the partnership now enables this process to be handled in-house. President Sami Belbase says: “We never saw challenges in flying to Cuba; we were just waiting for the right time and the right partners to offer the experience.”
