ExcelAire opens third US location

Long Island, MacArthur Island airport operator ExcelAire has opened an office at Teterboro airport where it will provide aircraft management and charter services. The office will be headed up by newly appointed vice president of business develop-ment Vickie Mahoney who was previously at FirstFlight.

Jet Edge partners with Shangri-La

California, US-based Jet Edge International has partnered with luxury hotel company, Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts. The agreement provides a customised jet charter pricing package to Shangri-La Golden Circle loyalty programme members, and reduced pricing packages at some of the world's leading resorts and hotel properties for Jet Edge clients.

FAI collects awards in Moscow

FAI rent-a-jet's Moscow office is celebrating two wins at the JET24 awards at JetExpo 2016 in the Russian capital. Victor Rudnov, director of business development for the Russian Federation & CIS, accepted the honorary diploma for Opening of the Year following the setting up of the Moscow satellite office in March this year, and the Most Caring Operator of the Year accolade which is awarded to the operator that voters consider offers the best service to passengers.

Go2Jets creates jet charter alliance

Florida, USA-based Go2Jets has created an alliance of operators from North and South America as well as Saudi Arabia, who between them operate 27 light to long range heavy jets: NasJet, Saudi Arabia; Red Wings, Mexico; Helistar, Colombia; and Global Executive Aviation, USA. Go2Jets will be handling charter sale logistics for its members from a central office.
