GainJet Ireland is ready for commercial operations

Shannon airport-based GainJet Ireland, a subsidiary of Greek VIP aircraft operator GainJet Aviation, has been awarded an AOC by the Irish Aviation Authority. The company currently offers for charter a Challenger 604 which will be based between Ireland, the UK and Greece until a fixed base is established.

GainJet Ireland CEO Captain Dimitrios Kehayas says: “GainJet Ireland was set up with a particular mission in mind, to expand GainJet's coverage of Europe and the west, while also supporting its current operations.”

GainJet Aviation CEO Captain Ramsey Shaban continues: “GainJet has been looking at expanding its operations in support of its current structure as it continues to grow. We examined several EU options, but we felt Ireland has a lot going for it and hence major companies have moved their bases there. We chose Shannon because, similar to Athens, it is a European base that is strategically located and connects continents. Moreover, Shannon has become a major aviation hub for leasing companies and for Atlantic crossing traffic. While we continue to look at expansion into Africa and the Middle East, our primary base of operation is still very much in Europe. We are very excited with GainJet Ireland and the commencement of its charter operations.”
